Sounds great but how much does all this fun cost?

The cost without airfare is $3,500 based on double occupancy in a Studio room. Other rooms and occupancy are available at various trip costs. Please review the room/cost table here


How the heck do I get there and what will that cost?

Several airlines service Iceland's international airport (KEF)  including Icelandair, WOW and  Delta with departure from many US cities. As of June the coach tickets with luggage are around $650


What is the weather like in Iceland at this time year?

While it's likely to be a snow blanketed New Year's the weather in Reykjavik is surprisingly moderate. Iceland has a maritime temperate climate (like the UK) but a colder and windier kind. The average temperature for January is around 32°F but each individual day could be anywhere between 14°F and 50°F


Will I see the Northern Lights at this time year?

Icelanders are privileged when it comes to the Northern Lights. They are visible for eight months a year, from early September to the end of April and in any of these months, you are likely to see some aurora activity—it just depends on your luck, the weather and solar activity. If you desire we can arrange an Aurora Alarm to alert you when these fleeting visual miracles appear


If you're a night person your going love Reykjavik at New Year's

there are only around 4-5 hours of effective daylight during mid-winter. But Iceland's inexpensive geothermal energy means that streets and buildings are always festively-lit during winter darkness. Besides more hours you might catch the Northern Lights
